Mambolisa here! Also known as Ancestral Doctor and Voodoo Priestess. Being a Mambo was never a thought in my mind growing up as what I wanted to be. I had a mid- normal life, even started of college excited to be a primary school teacher, but then everything changed. I mean everything happened so fast. I can clearly recall when I was five years old, I started feeling, hearing and seeing things that i just didn't understand. I was still young but I was aware of a lot of activities around me. At the age of 8, I began my awakening journey and MY was it a JOURNEY!
I remember walking home for lunch from preschool and I saw a spirit in someone window. I was so confused that I fainted in the drain, next to the house. My mom came to look for me and I told her what I saw. She wasn't surprised about what I saw and let me know know that I was protected by my ancestors. I never even understand what she meant by that. A few years later we attended a funeral for a local man in the community. After the funeral I realized someone sitting next to me but I didn't really pay attention until I felt the person breathing over my head. When I looked it was the guy that was just buried a few moments ago. I was so shaken up from that experience that I thought I was going crazy. From that moment, my whole life shifted.
On a daily basis my dreams, my visions, the voices, the cries, the walking on the roof, babies crying amplified even more. I started to learning to embrace it and channeled how to tap into it even more as I developed my gift as a Mambo.
The title Mambo is given to a voodoo priestess. Now I know words like obea, voodoo, hoodoo and conjure starts to scary people because they are often associates with evil. But like everything in the world there is good and bad versions of everything and there are people that use their knowledge for their own selfish reason. As a mambo I am called to heal, guide others during complex rituals and help the souls on this earth and not to do harm.
Mambo has the highest state of power and are considered masters of spirits and consciousness. This means I can read someone energy and intentions and understand with their problems. I am powerful to the extent that I am protected by my spirits and by my ability to work in partnership with my spirits to achieve what task needs to be accomplished. I take being a Mambo with great pride, honor and responsibility. I know I have a purpose, I am aware of my calling. I have accepted it. I trust my spirits and my spirits trust me. I love my spirits and the new challenges they bring with each assignment.
Auraboutiqk was created to help the women on their awaken journey and help connect to their divine self. This platform is a safe place for women to come and become the best version of themselves through feminine care, spiritual practices and apothecary healing.
